"Philosophy of Freedom" is a collection of essays and thoughts, which he himself systematised during the last months of his life. The author witnessed many historical events, and remembering them, he sought to understand why everything happened this way and not the other, whether anything could have been changed, whether the past of the Ukrainian people had an influence on them. Popovych searched for the truth, because it was the most important goal for him, and now posterity can find out what conclusions he reached. The topics of his interest vary, but mostly he researched theories and objects, and analysed historical events.

With simple and fluent texts and concise interpretation, Teenagers Reading Chinese Philosophy systematically introduces the essence of the philosophical thoughts of philosophers including Confucius, Mencius, Mozi, Laozi, Zhuangzi, Xun Kuang, and Han Feizi. As an enlightening book of Chinese philosophy designed for children, it eliminates the barriers to reading classical Chinese in the pre-Qin period, and makes the "abstruse and mysterious" philosophy easy for children to understand.

— Philosophy for beginners — For philosophy enthusiasts — A pleasant read This truly brilliant book tells of the sometimes sublime, sometimes exhilarating efforts of philosophers to maintain their attitude in everyday life without forgetting the meaning of their own words – and how they ultimately failed to do so. The minor, sometimes bizarre events in the lives of the great philosophers fit so aptly in the picture of the respective philosophy that one has to assume they could have been conceived to keep the associated intellectual giant in a strange and memorable mood. A book of cheerful science, full of wit, narrative and linguistic eloquence.
David Myles Robinson was eight years old when he first got hooked on travel. Since then, he’s seen most of the world—all its continents plus, he laments, “far too many places where travel is now off-limits.”After a lifetime of visiting near and far, in heat and in cold, in comfort and in danger, Robinson has put it all together now in this unique collection of the varied travel adventures he’s found—and the lessons he’s learned from them. A Fellini-esque view of the Amazon, a Mercedes caravan to Istanbul, Jane Goodall's amazing chimps—just part of a travel trunk full of experiences guaranteed to keep you seesawing from “Boy, I'd love to do that" to “Sure glad it was him, not me.”In Conga Line on the Amazon, Robinson brings to his first travel book the same gift for intriguing narrative and sharp characterization that has won praise for his six highly successful novels. Some of his tales may be for the strong of heart, but they’re all for the reader with a yen to be entertained by one intrepid man’s adventures and misadventures exploring the strange and wonderful world we live in.

Our team continues to study Ukraine, the results of which we share with you. This book is a story of the Ukrainian land, told by the Ukrainian people and filmed by the Ukraїner team. It was not enough to travel around all regions of Ukraine just one time to get to know it. Therefore, during 2019-2021, we drove the second expedition circle and brought even more stories about our incredible country and its inhabitants. Like all Ukraїner materials, these are stories of real people and the places they take care of, with dialogues and without directing. Traveling around the country, we want to capture it for every Ukrainian and for the whole world. And with the beginning of the annexation war started by Russia, this book has another important goal: to show Ukraine as it was before February 24, to keep it in our memory so that after the victory it could be rebuilt, and made even better.
Two sisters living in two different cities, one in Port Harcourt, Nigeria and the other in Saskatoon, Canada have big announcements to make to their parents about marriage and finding love. While the older sister, Mondi appeared unsure of where she stood between convention and what she desired, her younger sister Yola was all set for an extreme adventure that threatened to tear their family apart.
A text that transcends literary genres, this book concludes a path that runs through the author’s previous books: Al Ike fe Al Mabahej was Al Ahan (The Ike in the Joys and Sorrows) 2002, Kitab Al Ghewaya (The Book of Seduction) 2007, and Al Aar men Al Difatayn... Abeed Al Azmenah Al Hadethah fee Marakeb Al Tholomat (Shame on the Two Banks: Slaves of Modern Times in the Boats of Darkness) 2011. The theme of the book focuses on travel as a human activity and an example of human life. Hence the novel’s philosophical approach manifests itself as an examination of the different stages of travel as a metaphor for man’s journey from life to death. With this philosophical view the writer's prose fuses with cities and travel experiences, diving deep to describe the souls of the cities, going far beyond what can be captured by a camera. The book contemplates the styles of architecture and the meanings they represent, reflecting on the meaning of beauty and perfection, as well as the nature of aggression that resides in them. It reflects, too, on the meaning of living on an island and the symbolism of water, which makes travel a unique experience that increases the depth of life and compensates us for our short existence. The writer examines his visions by invoking publications that highlight travel, including The Thousand and One Nights, which he considers to be a travel book.
