        Jesus Christus Erlöser und Fieber – Tagebuch eines Aussätzigen

        Was als Auftakt zu einer weltweiten Tournee geplant war, geriet zum legendären Skandalauftritt: Als Klaus Kinski, Schauspieler und Weltstar, am 20. November 1971 in der Berliner Deutschlandhalle als Rezitator seines eigenen Textes Jesus Christus Erlöser auf die Bühne trat, war den meisten der 4000 Besucher weniger nach Kinskis kluger persönlicher Auseinandersetzung mit dem Neuen Testament zumute als vielmehr nach Provokation und Tumult in der Halle. Am Ende des Abends lauschte ihm nur noch eine Handvoll Menschen, als er – nun ohne Mikrophon – seine ganz eigene Version von Jesus’ Leben vortrug. Zum 80. Geburtstag von Klaus Kinski am 18. Oktober 2006 wird Jesus Christus Erlöser erstmals veröffentlicht, gemeinsam mit den Gedichten Fieber – Tagebuch eines Aussätzigen, die Kinski in den fünfziger Jahren schrieb und die bei ihrem Erscheinen 2001 vom Focus als »literarische Entdeckung des Jahres« bezeichnet wurden.
