Author Biography

Steven Stralser is Professor Emeritus at Thunderbird School of Global Management and received his Ph.D. from The University of Michigan where he taught Marketing and Marketing Strategy. He holds a BS in Marketing from The University of Arizona and an MBA from Arizona State University.


During Fall1999, he was a Fulbright Senior Scholar, teaching marketing management in the MBA program at The Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Entrepreneurship at The University of Miskolc.


His interests outside the classroom and the professional world include playing left defenseman for his men’s adult ice hockey team, restoring and driving his 1951 Riley 2.5L RMB Saloon and sharing adventures with his bride, Rosemary and their growing-up-fast clan of grandchildren.
