Tell Children About the Sanxingdui
by Liu Xingshi
The Sanxingdui Ruins are considered one of the most the greatest archaeological finds of China in the 20th century. Located in the southwest China's Sichuan Province, the ruins are believed to be the remnants of the ancient Shu Kingdom, predating the Xia Dynasty by 700 years or even thousands of years, dating back up to 3000 or 5000 years ago. What is the truth about this period of history and who built it? This is a mystery to the world. Liu Xingshi is a prehistoric archaeological researcher, contemporary geologist, science popularization writer, and expert in Sanxingdui mineral resources investigation. He wrote, at the age of 91, this set of humorous but professional books for children to guide them in uncovering the mysteries of the Sanxingdui Ruins from the perspectives of geography, archaeology, history, and human environmental science. Unlike the most books on the market focusing on the cultural relics unearthed at the Sanxingdui Ruins, including the surprisingly large number of bronzes and ivories, this unique set of books traces back to the ancient Shu civilization and explores how Sanxingdui people lived, including food, clothing, shelter, transportation, labor, and migration, as well as the hidden geography, climate, and environmental knowledge, which leaves infinite imagination space for children.

Children's & YAA Kiss to My Mum
by Huang Beijia
A Kiss to My Mum is a novel that delves into the growth of a child from a single-parent family. The hero is a ten-year-old boy called Zhao Andi. He is Zhao Andi to his teacher, My Dear An to his father and Didi to his mother. At his father’s funeral, for the first time he sees his mother Shu Yimei, so beautiful as if she stepped down from a photo. At this gloomy moment Didi was pushed to an arduous cliff, on the other side of which is his mother Shu Yimei, blowing the scent of orange. The novel develops around the gradual emotional thaw of the boy and his mother. At first they cannot get along with and are watchful of each other. But distance gradually gives way to proximity and then to mutual understanding and harmony between the two on their way to the future. This is a story of a boy and his parents, singing high praise for children. It is also about our life, our minds and love. All the characters in the novel are very much realistic, including the boy of slight autism and the mother of slight depression. The atmosphere of modern life in the novel is achieved through the depiction of other characters such as the hero’s classmate and good friend Zhang Xiaochen, his sister Ke’er, his uncle Baolin and his English teacher Li Qinsong, a man of dubious identity, thus adding to the enjoyment of the book.

Una oportunidad de vida
by Gina Goldfeder
Release the Wound is about letting go of our primal wounds as a path towards building a new identity. The result of many years of practice, this book teaches readers how to overcome the challenge and succeed in rebuilding their selves. It invites readers to let go of the role of the victim and resignify who we really are. For many, unresolved trauma develops an existence of their own and converses with us, becoming our accomplice in the practice of justifying why we cannot live a fulfilling life, no matter how much we want to Release the Wound is an invitation to defeat the victim and start anew. Using examples from many cases from her private practice, and building from the deep understanding taught by experts and professionals, Dr. Golfeder's book includes three main sections: Part One describes the meaning of the primal emotional wound, its origin, and how we identify ourselves with it. Part Two offers specific tools to release the wound and strenghten the creation of a new personal identity. Part Three is about practices and disciplines to enjoy life from a new point of view. This book is centered on the process of knowing, honoring, and learning to release the wound and turn it into a new opportunity for life. Haiku Illustrated
by Hart Larrabee
Haiku is an ancient form of Japanese poetry. Its structure has become popular inother languages and today it is probably the best-known form of poetry worldwide. There are few rules to haiku, but they are strict: 17 phonetic sounds, a sense ofcutting images or ideas, and a reference to a season. From those restrictions, poetshave written about many things, from the year’s first blossom to aging, frommosquitoes humming to insects singing, from catching one’s shadow to crossing astream in the summer.Haiku Illustrated features 75 classic poems from four poets – Matsuo Bashō, YosaBuson, Kobayashi Issa and Masaoka Shiki – which range across more than 200 yearsof Japanese poetry. Each poem is presented in Japanese script, along with romanized Japanese (romaji) and an English translation. Each haiku is accompanied by an artwork illustrating an aspect of the poem, such as the traditional Japanese art of cherry blossom, Mount Fuji or village life. Beautifully produced in traditional Chinese binding and with a timeless design, Haiku Illustrated is an expert celebration of one of the most beautiful and accessible forms of poetry in the world.
