Vor diesem Hintergrund ist das Verhältnis von Leben und Werk neu in den Blick zu nehmen. Auf der Grundlage von bislang größtenteils unbekannten Zeugnissen dokumentiert Christian Wiese aufschlußreiche Facetten der Jonasschen Biographie – etwa die Freundschaft sowie den Konflikt mit Gershom Scholem und Hannah Arendt.
