TURLA (Turkish Literature Abroad)
TURLA Meetings organized by the Association of Press and Publishers is an online copyrights platform, that has adapted to the ongoing changes in the world. TURLA Meetings, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, introduces Turkish publishers to international publishing professionals and enables online copyrights meetings for Turkish publishers. TURLA Meetings which is the first international online publishing platform in Turkey will take place between 17 - 19 November 2020. The program will give Turkish and international publishers the opportunity to hold copyrights meetings and matchmaking activities. Within the context of TURLA Meetings the publishers from Turkey and around the world will meet with live video B2B meetings on the website for 3 days. The Turkish publishers who contribute to TURLA's catalogs and the international publishers from the different countries can create their profiles and online publishing house showcases on the TURLA Meetings website. The publishers can also continue to promote their books on their online showcases outside of the event dates. TURLA Meetings collects international book fairs and the international publishing market on one website, for the easy access of Turkish publishers.

The world of Turmali has had it's seven lands invaded by aliens who hate light and brightness of any kind and especially Tourmaline Gemstones. The aliens set about hiding away all the gemstones, which power the Rainbow Bridges that connect the seven lands. The lands become isolated and dark. 12 Children from different countries on Earth are brought to Turmali to help their people defend their world from the alien invaders. The invaders are known as The Light Killers and the 12 children from Earth become The Light Savers. How it all began introduces the reader to the world of Turmali and the 27 following books.

Renata discovers that alien invaders, known as The Light Killers, have stolen the gemstones and hidden them away, The Rainbow Bridges have disappeared and the 7 lands of Turmali have become isolated and dark. Renata sets out to help the Turmali people repel the alien invaders and find the missing Tourmaline stones. Renata has many exciting adventures on her travels to Turmali and gets to meet other children from different countries on earth, who are also helping the Turmali people in their fight. The children become known as The Light Savers as they try to defeat the alien invaders.

Tebogo meets other children from Earth, helping to save Turmali and they all become known as The Light Savers.

Sadly Turmali has been invaded by aliens, who hate light and especially the brightness of Tourmaline stones, the aliens have set about finding and hiding away the Tourmalines which has meant the Rainbow Brisges have disappeared. Abigail becomes determined to help the people of this magial world in their efforts to repel the laien invaders. In her many adventures Abigail meets many wird and wonderful characters and has many encounters with the alien invaders who are know as The Light Killers.

IKE a robot was originally programmed by the Light killers to seek and collect Tourmaline Gemstones on the seven lands of Turmali. Left to rust away after it had done most of the work for The Light Killers the robot is found by a young girl. The girls' father repairs the robot and discovers it is powered by the Tourmaline Gemstones. Realising the error of its ways the robot is renamed IKE by the young girl and vows to help to find all the missing gemstones and help the people of Turmali to defeat the alien invaders. IKE meets many of the Light Saver children and helps them in thier quest to repel the alien invaders. IKE becomes know as one of the 13 Light Savers.

Jing0Wei meets many intriguing and mysterious characters along the way as she learns she is only one of the 13 Light Saver characters.
