Description
Mercy Jelimo lives in the Old Town in Mombasa Kenya in Africa. Mercy is left a gift of Tourmaline gemstones by an elderly neighbour. The Tourmalines turn out to have magic powers and Mercy finds herself transported to the magical world of Turmali. Mercy discovers this fabulous world has been invaded by aliens who have stolen away the Tourmaline gemstones that power the Rainbow Bridges that connect the seven lands of Turmali. The bridges have disappeared and the lands have become isolated and dark. Mercy decides she must help the Turmali peope n thier fight against the invaders who have become known as The Light Killers. Mercy has many adventures on her journeys to Turmali where she meets many strange and curious characters. Mercy also gets to meet other children from Earth who are also fighting The Light Killers.
