Meena Shukla lives in New Delhi, the Capital of India. Meena helps to save the life of a 'street-girl' and is rewarded with a Tourmaline gemstone. The Tourmaline has magic powers and Meena finds herself transported to the mystical world of Turmali. Meena discovers this beautiful world has been invaded by aliens who have stolen all the Tourmaline stones that provide power to this world. The Rainbow Bridges that connect the seven lands have disappeared leaving the lands isolated and dark. Meena decides she must help the Turmali people to repel the alien invaders, known as The Light Killers. Meena has many adventures on her travels to Turmali and meets many strange and wonderful characters along the way, as she becomes one of the 13 Light Savers.
