Kurt Drawert wurde 1956 in Hennigsdorf (Brandenburg) geboren. Seine Kindheit verbrachte er in Borgsdorf und Hohen-Neuendorf (bei Berlin). 1967 zog er nach Dresden um. Dort absolvierte Drawert eine Ausbildung zum Facharbeiter für Elektronik, später legte er auf einer Abendschule das Abitur ab. Von 1982 bis 1985 studierte er Literatur in Leipzig, wo er ab 1984 lebte. Seit 1986 ist Drawert freier Autor. 1993 zog er nach Osterholz-Scharmbeck (bei Bremen), 1995/1996 verbrachte er einige Zeit in Rom. Heute lebt Drawert in Darmstadt, ist verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder. Silke Scheuermann, geboren 1973 in Karlsruhe, lebt in Frankfurt am Main. Sie studierte Theater und Literaturwissenschaften in Frankfurt, Leipzig und Paris. Bislang veröffentlichte sie neben Kritiken Gedichte und Erzählungen in Zeitschriften und Anthologien. Der Tag an dem die Möwen zweistimmig sangen ist ihr Debüt. Stipendien: Literaturstipendium Lana 2003 Artist-in-Residence-Stipendium der Villa Aurora, Los Angeles, Juli-September 2004 Christian Lehnert, geboren 1969 in Dresden, ist Dichter und Theologe. Er leitet das Liturgiewissenschaftliche Institut an der Universität Leipzig. Sieben Gedichtbücher und zwei Prosabände liegen von ihm im Suhrkamp Verlag vor. 2012 erhielt Lehnert den Hölty-Preis für sein lyrisches Gesamtwerk, 2016 den Eichendorff-Literaturpreis. Marcel Beyer, geboren am 23. November 1965 in Tailfingen/Württemberg, wuchs in Kiel und Neuss auf. Er studierte von 1987 bis 1991 Germanistik, Anglistik und Literaturwissenschaft an der Universität Siegen; 1992 Magister artium mit einer Arbeit über Friederike Mayröcker. Der Autor erhielt zahlreiche Preise, darunter 2008 den Joseph-Breitbach-Preis und 2016 den Georg-Büchner-Preis. Bis 1996 lebte Marcel Beyer in Köln, seitdem ist er in Dresden ansässig. Oswald Egger wurde 1963 in Lana/Südtirol geboren. Seine Prosa und Gedichte sind in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt und wurden vielfach ausgezeichnet, zuletzt mit dem Ernst-Jandl-Preis für Lyrik 2019. Seit 2011 ist er Professor für Sprache und Gestalt an der Muthesius Kunsthochschule in Kiel. 2014 erhielt er das Villa-Massimo- Stipendium, 2020 das Robert-Musil-Stipendium. Oswald Egger lebt und arbeitet auf der Raketenstation Hombroich. Lutz Seiler wurde 1963 in Gera/Thüringen geboren, heute lebt er in Wilhelmshorst bei Berlin und in Stockholm. Nach einer Lehre als Baufacharbeiter arbeitete er als Zimmermann und Maurer. 1990 schloß er ein Studium der Germanistik ab, seit 1997 leitet er das Literaturprogramm im Peter-Huchel-Haus. Er unternahm Reisen nach Zentralasien, Osteuropa und war Writer in Residence in der Villa Aurora in Los Angeles sowie Stipendiat der Villa Massimo in Rom. Für sein Werk erhielt er mehrere Preise, darunter den Ingeborg-Bachmann-Preis, den Bremer Literaturpreis, den Uwe-Johnson-Preis, 2014 den Deutschen Buchpreis und den Preis der Leipziger Buchmesse 2020. Durs Grünbein wurde am 9. Oktober 1962 in Dresden geboren. Er ist einer der bedeutendsten und auch international wirkmächtigsten deutschen Dichter und Essayisten. Nach der Öffnung des Eisernen Vorhangs führten ihn Reisen durch Europa, nach Südostasien und in die Vereinigten Staaten. Er war Gast des German Department der New York University und der Villa Aurora in Los Angeles. Für sein Werk erhielt er eine Vielzahl von Preisen, darunter den Georg-Büchner-Preis, den Friedrich-Nietzsche-Preis, den Friedrich-Hölderlin-Preis sowie den polnischen Zbigniew Herbert International Literary Award. Seine Bücher wurden in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt. Er lebt in Berlin und Rom. José F.A. Oliver, andalusischer Herkunft, wurde 1961 in Hausach im Schwarzwald geboren und lebt dort als freier Schriftsteller. Seine Gedichte sind in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt. Barbara Köhler wurde am 11. April 1959 in Burgstädt geboren, wuchs im sächsischen Penig auf und besuchte die Oberschule in Plauen. Nach dem Abitur arbeitete sie zunächst als Altenpflegerin und in verschiedenen Funktionen am Theater in Karl-Marx-Stadt, heute Chemnitz. 1985 bis 1988 studierte sie am Institut für Literatur »Johannes R. Becher« in Leipzig. Nach der Wiedervereinigung war sie für verschiedene Zeitungen tätig und zuletzt Gastprofessorin für Literarisches Schreiben an der Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln. Barbara Köhler starb am 8. Januar 2021. 1957 geboren in Berlin; erste Veröffentlichung von Gedichten in der Zeitschrift "Sinn und Form" 1976; erster Gedichtband 1980 im Aufbau-Verlag; seitdem Arbeit als freier Autor; 1987 Ausreise in die Bundesrepublik; 1989 Visiting Writers an der Universität von Texas in Austin; 1992 Stipendiat Villa Massimo, Rom; einige Literaturpreise, zuletzt Friedrich-Hölderlin-Preis Tübingen 1993 und Preis der Literaturhäuser 2006; 1997-2004 Leiter des Studios Literatur und Theater der Universität Tübingen; lebt als freier Schriftsteller in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Thomas Kling, geboren 1957 in Bingen, lebte in Düsseldorf, Wien, Finnland, Köln und seit 1995 auf der ehemaligen Raketenstation/Stiftung Insel Hombroich, wo sich heute sein literarischer Nachlaß im Thomas Kling Archiv befindet. Er starb am 1. April 2005. Thomas Rosenlöcher, geboren 1947 in Dresden, studierte von 1976 bis 1979 am Literaturinstitut in Leipzig und lebte als freier Schriftsteller in der Nähe von Dresden. Rosenlöcher war Mitglied der Sächsischen Akademie der Künste und der Akademie der Künste in Berlin. Für sein Werk erhielt er zahlreiche Preise und Auszeichnungen. Rosenlöcher verstarb am 13. April 2022 in Dresden. Robert Schindel, geboren 1944 in Bad Hall bei Linz, ist Lyriker, Autor, Regisseur. Die Zeit des Nationalsozialismus überlebte er als Kind jüdischer Kommunisten in Wien. Er war Wortführer der radikalen Studentenbewegung Kommune Wien und Mitbegründer der Gruppe Hundsblume. 2009 wurde er als Professor an die Wiener Universität für angewandte Kunst berufen. Ausgezeichnet wurde er u.a. mit dem Erich-Fried-Preis (1993), dem Eduard-Mörike-Preis (2000), dem Preis der Stadt Wien für Literatur (2003), dem Jakob-Wassermann-Literaturpreis (2007) und dem Heinrich-Mann-Preis (2014).
