Having been thrown in very much at the deep end when asked to project manage the opening of a new primary school in the still-unrecognised Republic of Somaliland, this book has been the answer to my prayers. Given the school owners' insistence that it we use the best of the English National Curriculum for the Core Subjects, I was panicking a little about our teachers' ability to cope with this. The very simple but thorough guides in TWSBC have taken all of the sting out of planning and, despite being in a third world, post-conflict environment, we may well be implementing the revised 2014 National Curriculum before many school in England thanks to this book.
