        Ciento once mil

        by Díaz Latorre, José Ignacio

This novel narrates part of the life of Naraka Patel, but it could also have narrated that of anyone else, a path always riddled with evidence that we must learn to interpret. The young Naraka escapes from his family at a very young age. He lived in a small village near Delhi, and was fleeing from an abusive father who was about to kill him. On his way he grows, and crosses the north of India until he reaches Kathmandu (Nepal), where he enters as a Buddhist monk in a monastery, being recognized as the incarnation of Lama Savitri Parvati Rinpoche.Throughout his exciting life experience he achieves enlightenment, becoming the lama of the well-known Kopan monastery. He ends his days in an isolated retreat in a cave in the Mustang region of northern Nepal, where using the "Phowa" technique he achieves a lucid and conscious death.Naraka, during his retirement, writes multiple texts, this book being a small part specially dedicated to western culture, where some of his valuable and fully valid teachings are shown.

28 cosas que debes saber sobre los ángeles

        by Díaz Latorre, José Ignacio

In the spring of 2018 I was writing my second novel, "The Guardian of Omu", which by now and doing an exercise in temporal mysticism, I hope and wish that it has become a recognized "best seller". I was about a third of concluding the aforementioned novel, when one morning I dream, and I say exactly dream, with a rather vague scene in which the idea of writing about the essence of angels materializes in my mind. It is at that moment when I regain consciousness and awake, but I decide to continue thinking about that dream, more than anything else because of the curiosity and exceptional nature of the event. I sing a sweet dream again, more than a dream, sleep it, I would say. In that diffuse period of space-time, I see clearly, as if it were a data transfer, a script of content that appears to my knowledge. A succession of clear and unequivocal ideas that I had never thought to ask myself before, and all of them, referring to the subject at hand here.At that moment I decide to get out of bed and sit in front of my computer. Approximately 60 minutes later I have written that dream or received script, or what do I know. After writing it all in a row, I decide to read it carefully and immediately afterwards I see that it really is the script of ideas that I must develop without wasting any more time. At that moment I decide to slice it and use it as an index. It is exactly the index of this book.

        Nosotros, Colombia… Comunicación, paz y (pos)conflicto

by Sergio Roncallo-Dow, Juan David Cárdenas Ruiz, Juan Carlos Gómez Giraldo

Peace seems to have been elusive in Colombian history. The ups and downs in the negotiation processes, the unfulfilled promises, and the political polarization have made Colombia a nation in a state of continuous crisis and that, in spite of itself - to take up the old Bushnell phrase - has managed to stay afloat and, above all, do not lose hope for a stable and lasting peace.   There have been numerous attempts to build it and they seem to have been unsuccessful, especially because a good part of the collective representation that we have of them has been built from the media apparatus that, in the case of our country, has been at the service of power and that it has resulted in skepticism that, especially since the 1990s, has tended to transform into a strong polarization. With this book, we want not only to think about peace and (post) conflict from communication but to remind (us), once again, that we can still be we.

        Cara o Sello

        by Mario Salazar Montero

Kurzinformation ISBN 978-3-9525331-3-0 Titel “Cara o Sello”. Mario Salazar Montero. Mario Salazar Montero. Geboren in Kolumbien, Südamerika. Lebt seit vielen Jahren in der Schweiz. Rocanrol

        by Marcial Gala

In one of his best poems, Borges refers that language is successive time and emblem. Rocanrol is about that condensed time that is the revolution, almost a black hole where the sky is taken by storm. The characters immersed in the vortex of Cuba in the second half of the 20th century, they feel that history is a skin that overlaps the epidermis itself. Will rock be an effective way not to lose one's essence? How to find yourself? The death of a soldier in training, letters from Che saving a young woman from returning to prison, a farewell speech by Fidel Castro communicating the end of the Argentine guerrilla in Bolivia Rocanrol also tells of the passage of those who are nobody, driven by the winds of change. Rock is both initiation and promise of an illusory paradise that makes you believe that everything happens to the rhythm of that forbidden and desired music. In a crazy world, only crazy people are sane, said a certain Japanese artist, and that phrase could serve as an emblem for these characters who dare to say no, when everyone says yes. Alejandro, Ismael, Crazy Horse and the rest of those two Cuban families, build their own story within the immense account of history.

TIEMPO DE MUJERES. LITERATURA, EDAD Y ESCRITURA FEMENINA.

by ALMELA BOIX, Margarita; GUZMÁN GARCÍA, Helena; SANFILIPPO, Marina; ZAMORANO RUEDA, Ana Isabel

        Anthropology of Christian Vocation

        From Person to Person

        by Juan Manuel Cabiedas

The question regarding how to guide one’s own life is among the most pressing and serious questions. Both in its sacred understanding, as referring to a trascendent call, and in its lay conception, that connects the feeling of happiness to one’s self-fulfillment, the word vocation expresses the right way that a person follows to succesfully lead his or her own life. This may be the reason why, when talking about vocation, the word echoes all the elements that make up the identity of the human being: corporeity and spirituality, intelligence and sensitivity, conscience and freedom, personal biography and collective history. Without vocation, the personal being is doomed to treat oneself and to be treated with indifference.

        Reificación mediática

        Newspaperbirds of march 2011

        by Amaranta Caballero Prado

        Cuentos XMAS

by Seb Doubinsky, Matilda Braxton-Bali, Martín Lombardo, Marina López Planella, Ángel Loureiro, Ana Jaka, Rafael Sáenz de Cabezón

How to read XMAS in Spanish? X more? Ksmas? Chmas? And what do we understand when we actually read it? XMAS Stories groups seven Christmas-themed stories with X themes: an unknown, a prohibition, something with pornographic content, an indeterminacy, a substitution, a Roman numeral ... All those "X" themes in a "mas" "más" version. Some of the inhabitants of this space are: an individual who flees from the cold in search of healing human warmth; a sixty-year-old in love with the Magi; a friar who finds peace lecturing a community of settlers and indigenous people; an “it” girl housewife on the boil before her Christmas party preparations; a Santa Claus by accident, the protagonist of an untraditional tale; a young woman thirsty for a good love story; and a resident of the Big Apple hungry for Christmas revenge. The characters and voices in these stories, framed in a festive and celebratory atmosphere, and sheltered by everything that Christmas supposedly entails, propose heterodox realities as the only way to a new birth.

        Cuentos META

by Enrique Patiño, Hadley Pennington Keefe, Federico Palomera, Lautaro Vincon, Belén Palos, Thais Díaz Montalvo, María Toca, Dixon Acosta Medellín

Is the goal the beginning or the end? Is the goal sequel or consequence? META Stories brings together eight narrative voices that transform realities, invert solutions and reconcile results with objectives, so that the purpose of their actions exceeds their own expectations. Some of the inhabitants of this playing field are: an ambitious journalist and an anti-establishment revolutionary planning known theories on outdated models; a perfect couple who decides their own path of perdition; a Russian teacher determined to beat the winter cold in postwar Spain; a young woman who finds a peculiar way of transmuting her family reality; a dressmaker's apprentice who in World War II Paris amends wrappings and fabrics; a mother who is reborn in a story already written; a woman who prefers to live to imagine, and for whom an outcome is reconstructed; and a man who learns the true meaning of not scoring a goal. The characters and voices in these stories pose new challenges in the extremes of a biographical journey in which the beginning and the end are part of a process of knowledge.

        THE CHILEAN FOREST

by Written by: Pablo Neruda /Illustrations: Antonia Lara /Original script and editing: Juan Francisco Bascuñán

“Whoever does not know the Chilean forest, does not know this planet”. This profound and radical message by Neruda regards the wonderful forests of southern Chile, home to countless living beings: some who come out to meet those who enter it, others that always remain hidden. “A rotten log: what a treasure!”: the poet finds the point where life and death are one, the forest soil, where the cyclical becomes a reality, what dies will return in time to be part of the living again. “It is a vertical world: a nation of birds, a crowd of leaves”. Neruda does not say directly that we have to take care of the forests, but he helps us to know them, to discover them, to love them. And in this path what naturally follows is to protect them... This text is part of the memories of Neruda, I confess I have lived (Memoirs).
