Kein Frontalangriff, Nebenschauplätze sind es, über denen sich etwas zusammenbraut: Scharmützelwetter. Angriffs- und streitlustig wird ein Fluch ausgestoßen, eine Verstrickung aufgetrennt, kranke Fürsorge abgewiesen – ein lyrisches Ich entledigt sich des Gehorsams und erklärt sich zur Herrin der Lage. Wortwechsel mit Folgen. Eine souveräne Ironie ist dabei Wortführerin der Verse, angetrieben vom Sehnen und Hadern einer ernüchtert Liebenden, die vom Paradiesapfel weiß: »Diese Frucht verführt zu nichts als dem Ende. / Eine simple Sorte Gala / eröffnete die Vertreibung.« Saskia Fischers Gedichte sind erfahrungsgesättigt unsentimental, sehr gegenwärtig und unprätentiös.

Bordering intimacy explores the interconnected role of borders and dominant forms of family intimacy in the governance of postcolonial states. Combining a historical investigation with postcolonial, decolonial and black feminist theory, the book reveals how the border policies of the British and other European empires have been reinvented for the twenty-first century through appeals to protect and sustain 'family life' - appeals that serve to justify and obfuscate the continued organisation of racialised violence. The book examines the continuity of colonial rule in numerous areas of contemporary government, including family visa regimes, the policing of 'sham marriages', counterterror strategies, deprivation of citizenship, policing tactics and integration policy.

Interrogating the relation between physical, geopolitical borders and ideological, conceptual boundaries, it offers a range of vivid and original ethnographic case studies that will capture the imagination of anyone interested in gendered migration, policies of inclusion and exclusion, and regulation of reproduction and intimacy. The book presents ethnographic and phenomenological discussions of people's changing lives as they cross borders, how people transgress and reshape moral boundaries of proper gender and kinship behaviour, and moral economies of intimacy and sexuality. It also focuses on migrants' navigation of social and financial services in their destination countries, putting questions about rights and limitations on citizenship at the core.

The "West Chamber" of Wang Shih-fu in the Yuan Dynasty was a masterpiece of Chinese classical opera and a masterpiece of Chinese literature. The theme of the drama is the love story of the young scholar Zhang Huan and the late Ying-Ying, the daughter of the 19-year-old Cui Xianguo. The whole play is divided into five (screen) twenty (field). The first Zhang Ying and Ying Ying in the temple at first sight. The second to write Zaibing siege filled homes, Zhangsheng rescue, Mrs. Cui allow her daughter Yingying with Zhangsheng wife, then eat their own words. The fifth to write a couple reunion. In short, "The Romance of the West Chamber" wrote the contradiction between love and family honor. The result was that Zhang Sheng would try high school, winning the honor and winning the love.

Mestre Ricardo, alias Cachorro, graduado del Grupo Bantus de Capoeira del Mestre Adilson en Morro do Pavão y Pavãozinho —barrios pobres y marginados en medio de los ricos suburbios de Río de Janeiro— fue el primer Mestre del Grupo Capoeira de la Asociación Cristiana de Jóvenes en la isla del Gobernador, habiendo recibido dicho honor en 1975. Al año siguiente se convirtió en Mestre certificado de la FCP, la primera Federación de Capoeira de Río de Janeiro y en el mismo año presentó a la capoeira en un programa de televisión en vivo filmado en Carolina del Norte, patrocinado por la Asociación Cristiana de Jóvenes (YMCA) local. En la década de 1970, Mestre Ricardo fue integrante del equipo de gimnasia olímpica del Club de Fútbol Fluminense de Río de Janeiro, donde se especializó en ejercicios de suelo. Durante su carrera como profesional de capoeira, Ricardo aprendió y practicó boxeo, karate Shotokan y judo, como medio para comprender mejor los mecanismos de movimiento del cuerpo involucrados en diversas artes marciales.
