Carl Seelig war ein außerordentlicher Netzwerker. Als Vermittler zwischen Schreibenden, Verlagen und Zeitungen half er denjenigen weiterzuarbeiten, die der Nationalsozialismus zum Schweigen bringen wollte. In seinen Briefwechseln wird er als Anwalt einer bedrohten Literatur erfahrbar.
