Editorial Albatros was founded in 1950 and since then, it has proven its track record bearing the hallmarks of a solid family company with international presence.The work team includes editors, special series managers, consultants on juvenile content and professionals of the publishing industry. The company specializes in "niche publications", i.e., the development of books with special emphasis in particular subjects and the production of clear contents and practical proposals in close proximity to the reader. The main objective is to build bridges between the book and the reader and this is achieved with strategic commercial presence. Great Milestones in an Intense History The First Series (the 70's): On pets. The Homeopathy Series (1980): Launch of the complete academic series which went far beyond the Argentine border and was also sold translated into other languages. The Green Catalogue, Los que se van ("The Leaving Ones"). The Red Book on Argentine Nature (1994): Juan Carlos Chebez, together with the illustrator Aldo Chiape, created this work on species in danger of becoming extinct. First Appearance of the Series for Children titled Tus maravillas ("Your Wonders") (1995): The beginning of a new series of books created for funny, practical and interactive learning. Books on Arts and Crafts, Gastronomy, Home and Welfare (1995-2007): Keeping up with the practical specialized contents, Albatros went on publishing books mainly intended to the active and modern woman.

Becky sneaks into the evil queen's castle and finds out what the ancient prophecy is all about: The queen isn't evil at all, just terribly lonely, since no one seems to care about her and her story. Becky and her friends read their way back to Rosenbolt Castle and take the queen with them. In the children's library, Becky writes the queen her very own story, which is just waiting to be read and experienced by children.

Bekannt geworden ist vor allem Albert Ostermaiers Ode an den »Titan«, den Torhüter Oliver Kahn: »wenn er beim eckball wie ein blonde katze aus dem tor stürmt auf einer welle der begeisterung durch die blauen lüfte fliegt«. Die Weltmeisterschaft bildet den Anlass, um eine Auswahl seiner Fußball-Gedichte zu veröffentlichen – illustriert von dem Fußball-Narr Florian Süßmayr.

Polar ist eine Hommage an das französische Kino der sechziger und siebziger Jahre. Albert Ostermaier taucht hier, im Gedicht, die Welt in ein kaltes Licht, das den Menschen, Beziehungen und Dingen eisigscharfe Konturen verleiht. Das »kühle« französische Kino hat jedoch bei aller Schärfe immer auch von Sehnsucht gehandelt und davon, wie Gefühle verwischen, was klar vor Augen steht. Für eine gewisse Stimmung im Hollywood der Kriegs- und Nachkriegsjahre haben die Franzosen den Ausdruck film noir geprägt und die Düsternis in der Schattenwelt der Vorbilder in andere Farbtemperaturen überführt, in ein bläuliches Licht, das mit den grauen Pariser Dächern harmoniert. All ihre Filme haben sich weniger durch Erzählmuster definiert als durch ihre Atmosphäre. Albert Ostermaiers Gedichte erzählen davon, was diese Filme und ihre Geschichten mit uns anstellen, wie sie in uns weiterwirken und welche Abdrücke sie in unserem Empfinden hinterlassen. Weil sie den seltsamen Wegen nachspüren, mit denen die Bilder uns in ihren Bann schlagen.
