** How many books will be in the Bregdan Chronicles? You'll have to ask God about that... I intend to write these character's stories, one year at a time, for as long as I'm able to write. I'm passionate about bringing history to life through historical fiction. Since I'm amazingly healthy, that could be for a very long time! I don't like stories to end any more than you do. This one won't end for a very long time!

Readers love series. Historical fiction fans especially love sagas that stretch across time. The books within the Bregdan Chronicles have all been released as Best Sellers on Amazon.
Right now, there are fourteen books in this series, but many more are coming. I am committed to releasing at least two books a year. There will be at least twenty titles in the Bregdan Chronicles. When I have covered the time period from 1860 – 1878, the series will pick up again in 1915 – with the series title, The Bregdan Saga – that will continue with 10+ books through the mid 1920’s with descendants of the Bregdan characters. It will continue again in the 1950’s through the series title, The Bregdan Sequel.
My readers are incredibly loyal. I have over 100,000 in my social media accounts, and close to 20,000 on my email list that I communicate with on a bi-weekly basis.

Review: What to say? I highly recommend this series to anyone that has an interest in historical fiction and an interest in the civil war. You get to look inside people's lives there hopes, joys, fears and how war affects daily lives. The author has done a lot of research to be as accurate as possible. You see things through the eyes of slaves, see their hopes and dreams, see the thoughts of slave owners, their fears and concerns for their futures and the people whose hearts are changed. The last year of the war that almost succeeded in tearing a nation apart. I do recommend starting from the begining of the series to get the full story. But I can say each book does have a ending yet also makes for wanti g to know what happens to all the characters, Cromwell family, the Bordens, Rose and Moses. Not only the fight foe freedom for the slaves but also the rights of women. How it takes support from others to accomplish these issues. Yes take some time to see things possibly in a different light. The Civil war was a very sad time in our history that we need to try to understand at the same time being hard to understand.
Review: I have read all of the books and I am waiting for the next one in May can't wait till it comes out. Every one of the books were great there were times when I had very important things to do and couldn't put my kindle down. That is the only problem with these books because they are truly fantastic but when you start one you don't want to stop till you have finished and then you can't wait till the next one comes out. I can truly say I have never read any book that I have enjoyed as much as this series, and I read at least a book a week.
Review: Ginny Dye has given us a remarkable behind-the-scenes look at the American Civil Was through the eyes of a wide range of characters both young and old, black and white, honorable and dishonorable.
While the narrative is written in simple language suitable for high school and young adults, the content is often disturbingly graphic, especially in describing characters engaged in battles and during hospital scenes with wounded and dying soldiers. Also disturbing are terrifying scenes where racist language and cruelty are at their worse.
And yet, the overall and unifying message in these books is love - love for self and how to discover it, love for others and how to express it in times of calm and in crisis.
I'm thankful to Ms. Dye for her in-depth research and careful attention to detail. There is a lot to learn and understand from this historical series, and I would encourage anyone seeking to better understand the American people, their culture, and their history, to read this and all the books in the "Bregdan" series.
Author Biography
Ginny would love to get to know every single person who reads her books. Since that isn't possible she can at least let you get to know her a little. Born in North Carolina, she is a wanderer at heart. She has lived all over the United States, exploring every state and having wonderful adventures along the way. She has managed horse ranches in Texas and Oregon; worked with teenagers all over the country (she loves them!), and has hiked, biked, rafted and played in every locale she could.
She loves all the beaches, deserts, woods, and mountains she has traveled through but when she discovered Washington, she discovered home. Her heart is at home there with the snow covered mountains; the glistening waters of the Pacific; the eagles and Orca whales; the towering fir trees surrounding her home; and the miles of trails on her own Magic Mountain.
Everywhere she looks inspires her to be all she can be - to follow and achieve all the dreams of her heart! She managed to write and publish 50 books along the way. She enjoys writing many different genres but admits Historical Fiction is her favorite. She is quite sure she will never live long enough to write all her heart and mind holds, but she certainly intends to try!
She is also the Founder of Millions For Positive Change. This fabulous organization is committed to creating a world-wide community of people with a passion to make a difference and live their best life - using the multitude of FREE resources provided.
Her life will forever be a journey. She knows she will never get to the place where she thinks she has "arrived". The more she learns - the more she knows she doesn't know! Yet. what joy she receives by sharing the light she has... She would love to hear from you at BregdanChronicles.net
