History you've never been taught brought forward. I've learned a lot of history from all of Ginny's books (thank you so much for sharing).
It's hard to believe these people are fictional. The story continues on in each book, a page turner you'll be reluctant to put down until you've finished reading the entire book.
Less than 24 hrs since its' release and I've finished the book. Time to start rereading the entire set again.
If you haven't read any of these books you've missed out big time. My suggestion would be just try the first book. If you're not hooked by the first chapter try one more. These books have grabbed my heart & soul from the beginning page right until the last word.

Right now, there are fourteen books in this series, but many more are coming. I am committed to releasing at least two books a year. There will be at least twenty titles in the Bregdan Chronicles. When I have covered the time period from 1860 – 1878, the series will pick up again in 1915 – with the series title, The Bregdan Saga – that will continue with 10+ books through the mid 1920’s with descendants of the Bregdan characters. It will continue again in the 1950’s through the series title, The Bregdan Sequel.
My readers are incredibly loyal. I have over 100,000 in my social media accounts, and close to 20,000 on my email list that I communicate with on a bi-weekly basis.

Review: What an amazing book! Once again, we follow the amazing life of Carrie Cromwell Borden as she goes from Cromwell Plantation to Philadelphia to an Insane Asylum in New York to an orphanage in Illinois. I have come to feel like all of the characters in these books are family and I have read all of the books in this series thus far, this one being #11. I will admit that sometimes the books have gotten very slow for my taste...especially when it comes to political discussions...but they are necessary in order to give the reader a sense of what is happening in the dangerous, post Civil War south at the time. I invite the reader to come join us in sharing the joy, the heartbreak, the danger, the destruction, and most of all, the love of this huge family. And the family is getting bigger all the time. Like I said, I have read all of the books in this series, and even tho I think they are all just magnificent, I believe this one is the one I have enjoyed the most of all. I am so looking forward to #12.
Review: Each time I read one of the books in this series, I think it is the best. However, LOOKING TO THE FUTURE has a "feel" that is immensely satisfying to the reader. The author has always successfully fleshed out the characters so that the reader feels as if they are good friends. In this installment, however, our "friends" mature and begin to find their futures -- not where they had expected, but in the proverbial "coming home." The happiness factor definitely increases geometrically. The only problem I had reading this was that I neglected the rest of my life for two days so I could finish it! I cannot wait for Book #12!
Review: Ginny Dye is an exceptional author. The research that goes into each book makes for a long excruciating wait. She packs so much history and information into each book that we cannot wait for her next instalment. She also blends a great story filled with family, love, sorrow, triumph, and history. This book taught me about women's lack of freedom, not just concerning the vote but their lack of human rights also. What asylums were like, how husbands could be controlling even. A must read series I would recommend to all. Start from the beginning. Be sure to keep a hanky with you!
Author Biography
Ginny would love to get to know every single person who reads her books. Since that isn't possible, she can at least let you get to know her a little. Born in North Carolina, she is a wanderer at heart. She has lived all over the United States, exploring every state and having wonderful adventures along the way. She has managed horse ranches in Texas and Oregon; worked with teenagers all over the country (she loves them!), and has hiked, biked, rafted and played in every locale she could.
She loves all the beaches, deserts, woods, and mountains she has traveled through but when she discovered Washington, she discovered home. Her heart is at home there with the snow covered mountains; the glistening waters of the Pacific; the eagles and Orca whales; the towering fir trees surrounding her home; and the miles of trails on her own Magic Mountain.
Everywhere she looks inspires her to be all she can be - to follow and achieve all the dreams of her heart! She managed to write and publish 50 books along the way. She enjoys writing many different genres but admits Historical Fiction is her favorite. She is quite sure she will never live long enough to write all her heart and mind holds, but she certainly intends to try!
