Starving, eating, puking, fear, helplessness, despair: That was my life. Compulsions, rituals and self/defeating thoughts made my life hell. With the pursuit of the ideal of beauty, I distanced myself more and more of myself. Instead of me, the eating disorder had the control over my life. Under the ban of eating disorder I had to endure excruciating mental and physical suffering every day, until I had reached the final stage. With this book I want to support those people affected, before, during and after their disease as well as their relatives who will get an insight into this serious illness and a better understanding.
