Readers love series. Historical fiction fans especially love sagas that stretch across time.

The books within the Bregdan Chronicles have all been released as Best Sellers on Amazon, and currently have close to 8000 four and five star reviews.

Right now, there are fourteen books in this series, but many more are coming. I am committed to releasing at least two books a year.

There will be at least twenty titles in the Bregdan Chronicles. When I have covered the time period from 1860 – 1878, the series will pick up again in 1915 – with the series title, The Bregdan Saga – that will continue with 10+ books through the mid 1920’s with descendants of the Bregdan characters.

It will continue again in the 1950’s through the series title, The Bregdan Sequel.

My readers are incredibly loyal. I have over 100,000 in my social media accounts, and close to 20,000 on my email list that I communicate with on a bi-weekly basis.

Review: As with each book in this accurate historical chronicle, the detailed perspective of each female character's life brings my attention to the historical events I so-well ignored learning. Through the eyes of these Bregdan Women, the events that shaped our country before, during, and after the Civil War, bring authenticity to the lives of those who lived through that time. The reader comes away with a clear understanding of the motives that charged, not only war, but the fight for the equality and rights of women, children, American Indians, and early immigrants who sought those rights, only to find they had to fight for them.

This chronicle deepened my understanding of those events and the impact of decisions and actions upon generations that follow. Aside from that, it has captured my heart, my conscious thoughts, and woven its way into my unconscious thinking patterns.

I have learned more about the weaving of the fabric of our country and of generations gone by than I have in a history class or from documents and books.

In my opinion, it would be beneficial to have " The Bregdan Chronicles" in every high school library, and on every history teacher's reading enrichment list.

I highly recommend The Bregdan Chronicles for every woman's heart.

Review: Again, I hate to see another book end! The plantation, Richmond, Philadelphia and the factories continue to be the background for personal growth and struggles. The families are growing. Familiar stories blend into new situations. Unlike other book series, I don’t find the stories are being re-hashed; instead, the plot advances as characters continue to develop. Carrie continues to grow in her medical education, taking on a surgery internship.

Review: Again you have knocked out another great book. Only they are never long enough. I look forward to finding out what the next chapter in Carrie's brings to her and her family. Summer is still a long ways away. What will I read till then. Nothing this good for sure.

Review: With each new book in this fantastic series the reader is transported in time to historical sites that are so honestly and accurately depicted that it is almost like you are there. The characters are alive and fascinating and the issues brought to light in such a way that angst for the bad and euphoria for the successes are clearly felt by the reader. I anxiously await each trip to the past to find what new problems arise and how resolution will be made. If I may be so bold, andi know this dates me,but this series is as good as the John Jakes series of the Kent Family Chronicles. Keep the past coming our way. Kudos on your books one and all Ms. Dye.

Author Biography

Ginny would love to get to know every single person who reads her books. Since that isn't possible she can at least let you get to know her a little.

Born in North Carolina, she is a wanderer at heart. She has lived all over the United States, exploring every state and having wonderful adventures along the way.

She has managed horse ranches in Texas and Oregon; worked with teenagers all over the country (she loves them!), and has hiked, biked, rafted and played in every locale she could.

She loves all the beaches, deserts, woods, and mountains she has traveled through but when she discovered Washington, she discovered home. Her heart is at home there with the snow covered mountains; the glistening waters of the Pacific; the eagles and Orca whales; the towering fir trees surrounding her home; and the miles of trails on her own Magic Mountain.

Everywhere she looks inspires her to be all she can be - to follow and achieve all the dreams of her heart! She has managed to write and publish 50 books along the way. She enjoys writing many different genres but admits Historical Fiction is her favorite.

She is quite sure she will never live long enough to write all her heart and mind holds, but she certainly intends to try!
