Encounters With Pan and the Elemental Kingdom

        by R.Ogilvie Crombie

Do you ever wonder if the elves, gnomes, fauns, salamanders and sprites of myth, stories and legend really exist? And, if they do, what role do they play here on Earth?Walk hand-in-hand with R. Ogilvie Crombie (Roc) as he describes his own personal experience of meeting the elementals, or nature spirits, in various parts of Scotland; and how he comes to meet the great god of nature, Pan himself, in the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh. Through his conversations with Pan, Roc comes to understand, respect and love the elemental kingdom, realising that it is vitally important for man to work together in cooperation with the nature kingdom in order to restore balance, wholeness and harmony on Earth. Roc was recorded by Christopher Cathles during the period 197274. Originally published as two audiotapes: Elemental Kingdom, and Conversations with Pan. This double CD was remastered by Christopher Cathles in 2009.

Marjorie's Journey: On a mission of her own

A World War Two Biographical Memoir

        by Ailie Cleghorn

“[Marjorie’s] life and her own words bring us intimately into a very special world, one that was initially dangerous for her and the children, but which, in the end, and because of Marjorie’s determination to provide each one a happy childhood, became a safe and loving one.”   The author Ailie Cleghorn powerfully recounts the story of Marjorie, her mother’s first cousin, as she braved the Atlantic during WWII to save 18 children by bringing them to South Africa. Through diary pages, letters, telegrams and photographs, Marjorie’s story comes to life, tackling themes such as the idea of the ‘nuclear family’, female courage, motherhood and love.

        False Tongues

        by Kate Charles

Callie Anson should have learned her lesson by now: revisiting the past is seldom a good idea. But she succumbs to peer pressure and attends a reunion at her theological college in Cambridge, where she is forced to confront painful memories - and the presence of her clueless ex, Adam. Margaret Phillips, the Principal of the college, has a chance for happiness but before she can grasp it she has to deal with her own ghosts - as well as corrosive, intrusive gossip. Both women learn something about themselves, and about forgiveness, from the wise John Kingsley. Meanwhile, in London, police officers Neville Stewart and Mark Lombardi are involved with the latest fatal stabbing of a teenager. Was gifted, popular Sebastian Frost all he seemed to be, or was there something in his life that led inevitably to his death? They're plunged into the queasy world of cyber-bullying, where nothing may be as it seems. While they're apart, Callie and Mark's relationship is on hold, and his Italian family continues to be an issue. Will Marco realise, before it's too late, that while his family will always be important to him, he is entitled to something for himself?
