        Anna Livia Plurabelle

        by James Joyce, Georg Goyert

        Palm Desert

        Neal Careys fünfter Fall

        by Don Winslow, Conny Lösch

Alle Titel der Neal-Carey-Serie: London Undercover (Neal Carey 1)China Girl (Neal Carey 2)Way Down on the High Lonely (Neal Carey 3 – angekündigt unter dem Titel Holy Nevada)A Long Walk Up the Water Slide (Neal Carey 4 – angekündigt unter dem Titel Lady Las Vegas)Palm Desert (Neal Carey 5)

        Nursery Practices in Oil Palm

        A Manual

by Brian P Forster, Peter D. S. Caligari, Nur D Laksono, Umi Setiawati, Fazrin Nur, Miranti Rahmaningsih, Yassier Anwar, Heru Rusfiandi, Eben Haeser Sembiring, Brian P Forster, Avasarala Sreenivasa Subbarao, Hafni Zahara

This is a hands-on, practical guide to general and specific practices in oil palm nurseries to produce healthy, vigorous and uniform plants ready for field planting. There are two nursery stages, a pre-nursery and a main nursery. The pre-nursery receives both germinated seeds and tissue culture produced plantlets (ramets) which are planted in small pots in a relatively small area in which shade and humidity can be controlled. Once seedlings and ramets are established they are transferred to the main nursery, potted-on and grown on to produce field-ready plants.

Field Trials in Oil Palm Breeding

        A Manual

by Baihaqi Sitepu, Umi Setiawati, Fazrin Nur, Nur D Laksono, Yassier Anwar, Pujo Widodo, Brian P Forster, Dan Dwarko, Brian P Forster, Peter D. S. Caligari

This is a hands-on, practical guide to describe field trials in oil palm. The location for field trials is key, as is land preparation. Other logistics include the germination of seeds from crossing programmes, planting in a nursery and well-grown seedlings for field planting. The trial design needs to be translated into field lay out. Field planting is a critical point requiring plant care, good labelling, field lining and a system of checks, and must be timed to the rainy season. Recording of trials starts 1 year after planting for crown disease assessment and continues for yield approximately 30 months after field planting. Growth measurements also begin 30 months after planting. Tests for oil yield and quality are carried out one year after yield recording.

Bunch and Oil Analysis of Oil Palm

        A Manual

by Pujo Widodo, Fazrin Nur, Evi Nafisah, Brian P Forster, Hasrul Abdi Hasibuan, Brian P Forster, Peter D. S. Caligari

This is a hands-on, practical guide to describe physical bunch and oil analysis of oil palm bunches. Bunch and oil analysis laboratories are set up at oil mills to assess production, yield potential of plantations and oil extraction rates relative to targets. The higher the oil yields the planting material produces, the less land that is needed to achieve a specific level of production, hence helping in the sustainability of the crop.

        K

Roman | Kommunikation, Krieg, Kokain, Krypta | Ein Buch wie ein schillernder Traum

        by Tom McCarthy, Bernhard Robben
