        Life Coach Yourself to Success

        Put Yourself First To Be the One You Want to Be

        by Barrie Pearson & Neil Thomas

        Are you satisfied with the way your life is going – personally and financially? We often hear of people looking for an easy fix for their problems, but that’s rarely the answer. Perhaps, like many others, you too are busy spending your time thinking about and working for other people - so what about yourself? Are you spending any time thinking about and planning your own future? In this inspiring book, authors Neil Thomas and Barrie Pearson provide life-coaching techniques you can use to build a successful, fulfilling life for yourself. Unlike most coaching books, which are written by coaches themselves, Life-coach Yourself to Success has been written by two highly successful entrepreneurs who’ve actually followed and tested the advice they preach. This book is a tool to help you learn how to put yourself first for a change, how to understand your strengths and weaknesses and how to build a blue-print for success in life that you can turn into a reality. You are the business you have inherited. You can be the best business you will ever get to manage.

        Saramago's labyrinths

        A journey through form and content in Blindness and All the Names

        by Rhian Atkin, Mike Thompson

        Saramago's labyrinths is the first book-length study to focus on the relationship between form and the content in Saramago's writing, paying particular attention to Ensaio sobre a Cegueira (Blindness) and Todos os Nomes (All the Names). Atkin provides a close textual analysis of Blindness and All the Names, and suggests that the labyrinth pervades Saramago's work, both in the form of the text, and as a literary and philosophical trope. She makes clear connections between these novels and Saramago's other literary works, and identifies ways in which Saramago causes the reader to return to and consider the philosophical, epistemological and ethical concerns and dilemmas that are recurrent in his literary output. Atkin's jargon-free approach to Saramago's complex ideas, and her thorough understanding of Portuguese history, culture and society, make this an accessible yet challenging guide to Saramago's fiction, for undergraduate and postgraduate students and scholars with or without prior knowledge of the Portuguese context. ;

        Helicobacter pylori in the 21st Century

        by Steffen Backert, Stefan Bereswill, Tom Blanchard, Pelayo Correa, Richard Ferrero, Kwong-Ming Fock, Sara Lindén, Hoda Malaty, Barry Marshall, Francis Megraud, Anthony P Moran, John Nedrud, Karen Robinson, Maria Kaparakis. Edited by Philip Sutton, Hazel Mitchell.

        Helicobacter pylori is a globally significant pathogen that infects half of the population of the world. Its recognition enabled the development of new therapeutic and preventative strategies for serious health conditions such as gastric cancer, of which it is the major causative agent. Providing a broad overview of the current understanding of this pathogen and emphasising its world health impacts, this book explores a range of topics including virulence factors, vaccine development and obstacles, epidemiology, antibiotic resistance and the role of Nod receptors, with a foreword by Barry Marshall, the Nobel Laureate and co-discoverer of H. pylori. It is an essential resource for researchers, students and medics in infectious and Helicobacter-associated diseases.
