In our individualistic world, however, we do not always manage to think about what is truly important. The World Around Us motivates young readers to deeply examine their values, to recognise the negative actions of the characters in her stories, and to look for a positive approach to the world that surrounds them. The World Around Us consists of 16 stories, each of which is associated with a specific thematic word such as friendship, the future, wisdom… it is up to the young readers to think the stories through their keywords, and by doing so, they will develop their feelings of empathy, decency, kindness, humanity, and generosity. Binnen weniger Stunden machen zahllose Wissenschaftler:innen ihrem Ärger Luft. Sie schildern die Auswirkungen der Prekarität auf ihr Leben, berichten von Überlastung und Depressionen. Die Medien greifen das Thema auf, und »Hanna« schafft es wenig später sogar in den Bundestag. In ihrer Streitschrift legen die Initiator:innen dar, welche Folgen das »WissZeitVG« für Forschende und Studierende, aber auch für den Wissenschaftsstandort Deutschland und unsere Gesellschaft insgesamt hat. Zhangjiajie• is a book organized and edited by the Propaganda Department of the Zhangjiajie Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China.
