Julián is an actor who is going through a bad professional moment. Conditioned by the fear of failure, he accepts an offer whose consequences he cannot measure and which drag him to a point of no return. But his passion to embody lives completely different from his own will be stronger than his sense of survival.

Ariel Urquiza nació en Tres Arroyos, Argentina, en 1972. Estudió Periodismo y Traductorado de inglés. Su libro No hay risas en el cielo recibió el Premio Casa de las Américas en 2016, y fue preseleccionado en la cuarta edición del Premio Hispanoamericano de Cuentos Gabriel García Márquez. Esta es su primera novela.
Ariel Urquiza was born in Tres Arroyos, Argentina, in 1972. He studied Journalism and English Translation. His book No hay risas en el cielo received the Casa de las Américas Award in 2016, and was shortlisted in the fourth edition of the Gabriel García Márquez Hispano-American Short Story Award. This is his first novel.
