Author Biography
Juca Serrado was born in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in 1957. He studied architecture and economics, and worked in the financial market for more than a decade. He wrote for a specialized magazine on the financial market, having numerous letters published in newspapers. In his debut novel "The Turk" (2017), the author presents a pragmatic view on ethics and morals - a work that mixes love, adventure and suspense.
In this new historical novel, the author writes about the statue of Christ the Redeemer (Cristo Redentor) in Rio de Janeiro, an iconic political and religious monument where some of humanity's most important secrets may be hidden.
