Thibbun nabawi (Arabic, means prophet treatment). Some circles look down on thibbun nabawi. However, some others are too exaggerated to glorify thibbun nabawi. In fact, there are those who think that treatment other than thibbun nabawi is wrong, dangerous, or unlawful to take. Some Muslims think that thibbun nabawi and medical treatment are two things that cannot be reconciled. Many things need to be clarified regarding thibbun nabawi to Muslims.

Author Biography
Saifudin Hakim, M.Sc., Ph.D. took primary and junior secondary education at elementary and junior high schools located in Kragan, Rembang Regency, Central Java in 1991-2000, continued high school education at Taruna Nusantara Senior High School, Magelang, in 2000-2003, and completed undergraduate programs at Department of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University in 2003-2009. He continued his education in the master program in infection and immunity in 2011-2013, as well as a doctorate (Ph.D.) in the field of virology and immunology in 2014-2018 at Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam.
Doctor M. Saifudin Hakim, M.Sc., Ph.D. took non-formal religious education at Madrasah Diniyyah Miftahus Shalihin, Kragan, Rembang (1992-1998) and Ma`had al-Ilmi, al-Atsari Islamic Education Foundation (YPIA), Yogyakarta (2003-2005). In addition, he studied directly (mulazamah) with several ustadz, such as Ustadz Aris Munandar, SS, MPI, Ustadz Abu Isa Abdullah bin Salam, and Ustadz Muhammad Abduh Tuasikal, M.Sc ..
