Author Biography

Deng Xiangzi is a member of the Chinese Writers' Association, an editorial reviewer, and the executive editor-in-chief of Flower and Fire magazine. He is the author of a collection of children's novels, How Far Can a Pair of Shoes Go, The Girl in the Tree, and a full-length children's novel, The Cow Speaks, Singing Like a Cicada. His works have won the Ninth National Award for Excellent Children's Literature, the Fifth Chinese Excellent Publication Award, and the Third National Award for Excellent Children's Books. The copyright has been exported to the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia and other countries.

Zuo Hanzhong, a native of Shuangfeng, Hunan Province, is an editorial reviewer of Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House, a member of the Hunan Provincial Culture and History Research Institute, and the honorary director of the expert group of the Folk Arts and Crafts Committee of the Chinese Arts and Crafts Society, and was appointed as a visiting professor at the Graduate School of the China Academy of Art in 2005. He has won the titles of "Top Ten Book Editors in Hunan Province" and "The Fifth National Top 100 Publishing Workers", and has been selected for the "Hunan Province Literary and Artistic Talent Support '300 Project'".
