Monica Bruder is a specialist in therapeutic writing. The core of his work is directed to the development of the story as a therapeutic tool: Stories, from the literary point of view, can have open, sad, or positive endings. In the therapeutic story the ending is decisive, positive. It happens that a person, when he writes his story, may have an ending that, seen from another person, is a sad ending. However, it is a positive ending for that person. Its definition: it is the story written by a person based on the most painful situation that he has experienced in his life, and that written story ends with a positive ending. Both the traumatic situation of the story and the positive ending are defined by the person who writes it. Because what may be traumatic for one, may not be for another.
