Mum went on a trip, climbing over ten mountains, to help host a wine banquet. After the banquet, she was walking along the mountain road with a bag of nine rice cakes to take to the children. Suddenly a big tiger jumped out. The hungry tiger hadn't eaten anything all day, so what should the mother do? Do children at home also encounter tigers?

Author Biography
Xiao Mao is a member of the Chinese Writers’ Association. He has published over 60 children’s books, including major works such as Xiao Mao’s Fairytales, The Courier Horse, Cee Cee and The Frog and the Boy. He received Soong Ching Ling Children’s Literature Award, Chen Bochui Children’s Literature Award and so on. His works are appreciated by his readers because of its ‘unrestricted imagination and masculine humour infused with wisdom”. Soi Kim is an artist from Seoul, South Korea. She has always loved reading picture books, comics, as well as novels ever since childhood. After graduating from Seoul Women’s University, she continued to practice her drawings at an illustration academy. Subsequently she began working as an illustrator in 2012. Since then her picture books, children’s study books and an encyclopedia of the National Arboretum have been published.
