Description

Lady Yu has become the head of the Zhens since her father died and her brother got paralyzed. She intently strives for the long-gone youthful days and the free and happiness she never had before. In the end, she fights against the evil feudal ethical code at the cost of her youth, passion and life. The novel sets in a small town in the south of the Yangtze River during 1920s which has been no longer in existence and turned into a part of historical relics.
