Description
An old lady went to see her daughter and on the way she was stopped by a wolf, a tiger and a monkey. They agreed with the old lady that they would come back and eat her after seeing her daughter. The old woman's daughter gave her two magic gourds: one looked like a bottle and the other in the form of a snake. Will the magic gourds protect the old lady and bring her home safely?

Author Biography
Xiao Mao is a member of the Chinese Writers’ Association. He has published over 60 children’s books, including major works such as Xiao Mao’s Fairytales, The Courier Horse, Cee Cee and The Frog and the Boy. He received Soong Ching Ling Children’s Literature Award, Chen Bochui Children’s Literature Award and so on. His works are appreciated by his readers because of its ‘unrestricted imagination and masculine humour infused with wisdom”. Nguyen Thi To Uyen was born in Hanoi, Vietnam. She loved to read comics and picture books ever since she was a kid, and was also really excited to mimic the styles of her favourite comic book artists. So a long time ago, she began her dreams of becoming an illustrator. The freelancer environment improved and completed her art style. She hopes her work can inspire and motivate people to a better life.
