Author Biography
Amparo Dávila is one of the most known Mexican writers. She became a member of the Mexican Writers Centre in 1966. In 1977 her Petrified trees book was awarded the Xavier Villaurrutia prize.
By 2015 she was granted the Bellas Artes medal as an acknowledgment of her contribution to fantasy literature in Mexico.
