Description
The Giant’s Fire is according to the folklore of the Philippines. Once upon a time, people didn't have fire. The fire was owned by a giant, but the giant kept eyes on the fire all the time. Neither could people cook, nor got heating in the cold weather. People needed fire indeed. However, no one dared to fight with the giant for the fire. A man named Lin An and his friends came up with a way to obtain the fire.

Author Biography
Tang Sulan is a national first-class writer and professor of Hunan Normal University. She is a member of China Writers Association. Tang Sulan has written over 60 children's books and won several awards, such as the National Children's Literature Award, Song Qingling Children's Literature Award, Bing Xin Children's Book Award. Her representative books are Little Lotus, Legend of Nancun, The Series of Clumsy-wolf, Little Witch Zhen Meili and Miracle Garden.
Aldy C. Aguirre is a Manila—based freelance artist. He was given awards and recognition for his illustrations by the Philippine Board on Books for the Young People and National Book Development Board; and abroad by ILUSTRARTE in Castelo Branco, Portugal and Sharjah Exhibition for Children's Book Illustrations.
