Author Biography

Li Ya

Professor of Shanghai Theater Academy(STA) and head of the research center of ancient makeup in STA.

Visiting scholar of Peking University and Taipei University of the Arts.

Senior research scholar of TISCH School of Art, New York University.

Professor Li is an expert in ancient Chinese makeup and clothing research.She has long been engaged in the research and teaching of art history and clothing history, and is committed to the research and promotion of makeup and clothing restoration work.

李芽

上海戏剧学院教授，舞美系史论教研室主任，上戏古代妆容学科研究室带头人，北京大学美学中心访问学者、台湾台北艺术大学戏剧系访问学者，美国纽约大学TISCH艺术学院高级研究学者。

长期从事艺术史及服饰史的研究与教学，并致力于妆容服饰复原工作的研究与推广，是中国古代妆容、服饰研究方面的资深专家。

Chen Shiyu
