Author Biography
He was born in Tehran 1372 he is a graduate of animal biology (University of Tehran), instructor of Iran’s arachnids during the courses of wildlife guides and the directing board member of Pars Plateau Zoologists Group. He has so far cooperated with several foreign and Iranian scholars, the result of which was new taxa for the scientific world and the introduction of more than 6 families, 34 genera and 112 species, presented as more than 25 articles and scientific reports. Zamani cooperated in the spider collection of the Zoological Museum of Iranian Research Institute of Plant Protection and he was also the coordinator of Iran in the World Spider Catalog project (Switzerland). He is the partner at the Virtual Institute of Spider Taxonomy Research, and a member of the editorial boards of the journals Arachnida: Rivista Aracnologica Italiana and Check-List.
