Author Biography
Sheng Ke is a contemporary Chinese novelist. He is the author of "North Sister", "Ode to Morality", "Fugue of Death", "Wild Growth", "Jinshui", "Resting Land", "Blessed Land", and "The Book of Wistful Homeland". Many of his works have been translated into more than ten languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Czech, and published and distributed overseas. He has been awarded the Most Promising New Writer Award at the First Chinese Literature Media Awards, the Top 20 of Future Literature, and was shortlisted for the Ensign Asian Literature Award. "Seeing the World on a Fish" is the first children's literature work written and illustrated by the author.
