Ruin and lightness
by Julia Dantas
Description
When Sara is suddenly fired from her job right after a relationship breakup, she desperately throws herself in a runaway trip with no predefined route. Coming from an urban middle-class reality in Brazil, she will travel through sandy little towns in Peru and a tin mine in Bolivia, crossing borders and allowing herself to meet different people and explore life. More than self-discovery, this is a novel about the discovery of Latin American reality and
its people.
