Author Biography

Ana Campoy studied Audiovisual Communication and specialized in script writing and narrative writing, before devoting herself fulltime to Children and YA literature. Her first collection, “The Alfred & Agatha Series” (2011- 2015, Edebé), composed of eight installments, has positioned itself as one of the most successful middle grade series in the past couple years in Spain. Her novel La Cronopandilla: El túnel de tiempo (The Chronogang: Time Warp) received the Jaen Award 2017. In 2018, Anaya published her first YA novel, Todo esto que nos une (All that binds us).
Among her latest works there are two Middle Grade series, Family on the Run and Pepa Guindilla.
Furthermore, Ana Campoy coordinates children’s writers line-up and panels in the International Festival of Fantastic Literature Celsius 232, celebrated each summer in Avilés (Spain). She also collaborates in “Jot Down” magazine (linked to “El País” newspaper) as a journalist.
