Author Biography

Author. Natalia Gordienko, an English teacher by profession, began writing and crafting her own fairy tales when she was a child herself. She participated in collections of short prose, such as ‘Everything’ (‘Everything in Greece’ and ‘Everything as it Should Be’). She was awarded second place in the Gleb Babich Short Military Prose Contest organised by the ‘Bilka’ PH. Natalia consciously chose the fantasy genre. In all her works, there is at least a hint of wonder. She is the witness of the familiar order of life breaking down and the miracle of a new order being born, and it’s through fantasy that she can easily convey it to others.

Illustrator. Lada Kasianenko is an artist-graphic designer and illustrator. She has been working in the field of book illustration since 2021. Lada is a graduate of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, majoring in ‘Graphics’, and pursuing a master’s degree in the ‘Graphic Practices’ program. While still studying, she participated in graphic exhibitions such as ‘In My Dreams I Was Falling’ (2020), ‘The Practice of Metaphor’ (2021) and ‘A Bit of Collage’ (2024).
