Prefaced by Chen Danqing, the book also records Juan I-Jong's growth and the journal during his creation of these classic photos.

Author Biography
Juan I-Jong has been referred to as "Taiwan's Henri-Cartier Bresson" and "The Godfather of Chinese photography", with his black and white images depicting Taiwan's rural past and rapid development far surpassing documentation and localism.
