She is Hua Yaya, a little apprentice who wants to learn paper-cutting. But the master she wants to learn from is a bit strange. As an apprentice for three years, Hua Yaya spends a year in watering flowers, another year in sharpening a pair of scissors and a third year in visiting the market. Finally, her strange master flies into her paper-cut by riding a golden bird. Can she cut out lifelike patterns such as flowers, birds, leaves and characters?

Author Biography
Wa Mao is the founder of Wa Mao Creative Writing Studio and a senior expert of children's cultural and creative industries. She once served as an editor of children's books in the one of the Top 100 National Publishers, and created works such as three-dimensional AR picture books of a series of "Taotao's Journey of Fairy Tales", original children's literature "Sharing My Happiness with You", a series of "Story About Classic of Mountains and Rivers" (in Chinese pinyin version and with beautiful paintings) and a series of "Yilin Songguo Readings".
Huang Junxian is a member of Shenzhen Illustration Association and winner of the Little Hakka International Picture Book Award, an illustrator of BIBF Ananas International Illustration Exhibition; a bronze winner of China Illustration Biennial, an invited painter of China Illustration Art Exhibition and a second prize winner of the Talent Contest of World Illustration Awards, and etc.
