Zhijiang, in Hunan province, is the place where China and Japan negotiated for the affairs about Japan surrendered in the World War Ⅱ. It plays an important role in the history of world peace.

Zhijiang focuses on peace culture and has held "China Zhijiang · International Peace Festival" for five times since 2003, which makes peace culture a calling card for Zhijiang to go global.
