Dry Up the Sea is according to the folktales of Cambodia. There were many sunk merchant ships on the bottom of the sea. Many treasures and gold and silver contained in these ships also laid on the seabed along with these ships. The two friends acted together and wanted to dry the sea to gain the treasure of the sea. However, a Dragon King lived in the Crystal Palace on the bottom of the sea. The Dragon King for sure wanted to stop them.

Author Biography
Fang Suzhen is a seasoned children's author from China Taiwan, engaging in creating children's poetry, fairy tales and picture books. Through her many years of promoting reading in Singapore, Malaysia and other places, she has become affectionately known, to young and old readers alike, as "Miss Rumphius, the woman who sows the seeds of reading".
Sarah Ugolotti was born in Italy. In her artwork she always tries to draw the feeling first and add as many details as possible to make the illustration more interesting. She loves travelling, walking and observing details around her. She was one of the winners of the Worldwide Picture Book Illustration Competition in the Netherlands. To readers she'd like to say: "Every time you open a picture book is a new time to discover yourself."
