Description
This is an especially busy year for Winter. She celebrates her 15-th birthday and together with her friend, Maggie, spends a wonderful Christmas vacation in Paris, where she also experiences her first kiss. With the help of her friends, Winter discovers a second floating island, where mighty dragons live. The dragons have recently started to descent into the human world and threaten to expose the existence of all magical creatures. While trying to resolve the matter, the children meet a strange creature that goes by the name of Enrik the lonely, they help Thomas take care of Zog, a mysterious bat that lands in his house, and sabotage a press conference aiming to reveal the discovery of magic dust to the world.
This is the fifth installment in the Winter Blue, Fairy-Child book series.
The Winter Blue, Fairy-Child series (7 books and a magical cookbook) oscillates between imagination and reality, between the life of a teenage girl with all its day to day complexities and a rich adventure story which takes place primarily in MagicLand. MagicLand is a secret world run by the fairies, where all magical creatures took refuge after having fled from the human world. The plots are threaded between the two parallel worlds and sweep the reader onto enchanting adventures.
