Author Biography
Ernesto Cardenal, (born January 20, 1925, Granada, Nicaragua—died March 1, 2020, Managua), revolutionary Nicaraguan poet and Roman Catholic priest who is considered to be one of the main exponents of Latin American poetry and a key figure in liberation theology.
