Li Yun is a professional and technical colonel and reporter for the People's Liberation Army (PLA) branch of Xinhua News Agency. He has followed the Chinese peacekeeping forces to the Congo (DRC), Liberia, South Sudan, Mali and other UN peacekeeping zones for many times; participated in large-scale propaganda reports commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), and the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression) parade. Many of his works have been included in books such as "The Moment that Changed History", "My Long March", "Experiencing 80 Years of Splendor", etc., and have attracted a great deal of response.
