Black is capitalised
by Evein Obulor/RosaMag
Description
The Black Lives Matter movement has shaken up society and set changes in motion. Also in Germany. But Black FLINTA* (female, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans, agender) living in Germany often do not find themselves and their own stories reflected. What their reality in this country looks like and what aims and visions of the future they dream of, tell intimate and blunt 20 Black FLINTA. In their texts, they break with stereotypes, call for a rethink and create a space for their own identities.
With essays by Grimme Online nominee Ciani-Sophia Hoeder, bestseller author Alice Hasters, German afro movement icon Katharina Oguntoye and many more. With illustrations by young art talent Sharonda Quainoo.

Author Biography
Evein Rosa Obulor, born in 1994, comes from an idyllic little village on Lake Constance in Bavaria. She studied Peace and Conflict Studies, i.a., and left Lake Constance for her job as anti-discrimination representative for the city of Heidelberg and coordinator of the European Coalition of Cities against Racism. Evein founded the anti-racist network Migration Hub Heidelberg. Some days she moderates two events at the same time, designs projects and workshops at the intersections of culture, politics and education and creates space for Black Dreams with the RosaMag team – on other days flowers and serial marathons are her way of resisting against racist structures.
RosaMag is an online lifestyle magazine that informs, inspires and empowers Black FLINTA* and friends. RosaMag portrays their multi-faceted lifestyles, with natural grooming tips for Afro curls, inspiring interviews, rousing articles and inspiring essays – this is where Black FLINTA* are celebrated! The magazine wants to create role models and show Black diversity.
