Miniature is one of the types of painting in the past that is performed with watercolor and is an art that deals with books. This art existed in most of the world cultures, especially in Iran, and has always been associated with the art of writing or calligraphy. It can be said that painting is an art that is directly derived from the emotional, sensory and intellectual system of the life of the Iranian people and has changed along with the historical life of the Iranian people. The present book is the product of 10 years of research activity of Yaqoub Azhand in this field, which has been published in two volumes. One of the prominent features of this research work is the documentation in the text and the author has written this book using new and first hand sources in Persian, Arabic, English, Turkish, French and German.
