Description
In an abandoned house on the outskirts of the city, there lives a ghost. He is awfully lonely because there is no one around to visit in the evening. No bedside lamps need to be turned off if someone fell asleep with a book, no child to cover with a blanket. No reason to come back home and sleep peacefully all day long. The ghost has lost his sleep since all his neighbors moved out. But one day everything changes. A young family with a little girl move into the haunted house...

Author Biography
Natalka Maletych is a children’s literature writer, mother, editor of children’s literature at the Old Lion Publishing House, and translator from Polish language. She was born and lives in Lviv. She is the mother of two wonderful children – her greatest inspiration. She loves teen literature and beautifully illustrated books. She is the author of the books About the Bunny-the Forgetful and Other Stories, Elf’s Diary and Il. The tale of birth, and The Ghost Who Couldn’t Fall Asleep. Natalka is the winner of the II prize of the All-Ukrainian competition for the best prose works for children Golden Stork in 2008 and winner of the I prize of the Biblical Stories competition in 2010.
Natalya Chorna is an illustrator and a designer. She was born in Kryvyi Rih, where she graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. At first, she worked as a designer in studios, but then she realised that she wanted to grow in the field of illustration. Her computer drawings are distinguished by liveliness and resemble frames from a cartoon. She collaborated with theThe Old Lion Publishing House, Ranok, and Art Nation. She also created illustrations for an IT company, children's toys with AR (augmented reality), printing products, etc. Our catalogue features her work on Three Brave Knights and A Ghost That Couldn’t Fall Asleep.
