Author Biography
Donna DeNomme is a role model for using life challenges as opportunities to propel oneself into an extraordinary life. Coming from a background of brutal sexual abuse, which led to rebellious adolescent gang affiliation, single motherhood, and state welfare, Donna knew first-hand how self-defeating life can be . . . . Until now, Donna has not disclosed the details of those times, but rather used them as a springboard for personal and professional empowerment. She believes the ultimate purpose is in our healing, not our wounding. Donna lives life with great enthusiasm, knowing that there is true insight and value in all of our experiences.
Donna is an author, speaker, conscious energy teacher, licensed spiritual coach, and ceremonial leader. She has a Bachelor s degree in Human Development and Families Studies from Cornell University, a Master s Degree in Engaged Humanities with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, an advanced certification in Spiritual Coaching, and many years of training in alternative therapies and indigenous healing studies.
Donna has led innumerable women s groups, spiritual retreats, and other enrichment programs, and has released two meditation CD s, Spinning the Light and Sacred Journey. Donna s art is the creation of nurturing and supportive, richly charged environments that help to facilitate others as they explore, expand, and deepen their sense of self and their unique way of being in the world. Utilizing many modalities, some of which she professionally developed, Donna is a licensed spiritual coach and workshop facilitator with over 20 years of experience assisting others. She was voted Colorado s Spiritual Health Guru by the prestigious 5280 Magazine, for her unique combination of innovative therapeutic techniques.
