A bookstore owner and a young woman who have long since forgotten the comfort to be found in the holidays, will take a journey in time which will determine not just their own fate but the Balance of Reality. Somewhere on Earth, there is a mysterious book which connects them, even if they do not know it. Twelve hours before Christmas, the pages of this book will start to glow and mysterious symbols will apear. Searching for its new Book Keeper, the Master Book will telepage itself on Earth, to remind two people about the really important things in life. A handful of magicians, a squirrel with the head of a coyote, a ghost and a teleporter will create all kinds of magchief to get hold of the book.
